Vacation for reading

My plan "one book a month" has always been interrupted by such the trifles as assignments and exams which haunt quiet moments and leave me exhausted. Now's the time to carry it out over again.

There's very little time left to enjoy the college life, which life is directed by my own desire without any consideration about living under the parents' support.

What is such life expressing, a kind of the weak or happiness? I know nothing except that I do value each second when i was reading. I dare not to count how many school days are left.
